Norfolk Coastal Trail Marathon and Half Marathon 2021

Sadly our 2020 event will not be along a beautiful stretch of the Norfolk coastline! It will be a virtual run. To qualify for a medal, you will need to run either a half marathon or marathon continually and upload your result to Si Entries.
Walkers very welcome.
A bonus is that we will still be donating £5 from each entry to the East Anglia Air Ambulance.

Event Details
Start time: Complete the challenge between Friday 18th - Saturday 26th September 2020
Entry details: Entries are online via Si Entries, using the link on this page. If you have not used Si Entries previously you will need to create an account with before entering. Once you have entered and paid you will receive confirmation and other correspondence about the race via Si Entries. Initially this may go into your spam box. If you need to amend any details of your entry you can log into your account at anytime and edit your entry. If you misplace any emails about the race you can go to message history and retrieve all emails.
Results details: Once you have completed your distance be sure to edit your entry to add the time taken. This will then be shown on the results here. Add your Strava and social media links Add you Strava account to the Update My Details screen so that it is displayed next to your name in the results. You can also add your other social media accounts.
Entry cost: Half Marathon/Marathon affiliated £16 unattached £18
Transport: Coach transport will be available from the finish location to the start, BEFORE the event begins (i.e. leave your car at the finish). Must be booked at the same time as entering. Cost £10. Marathon coach will leave promptly at 7.30am, Half-Marathon coach will leave promptly at 9am
Postponement: Should it be necessary to postpone the race due to no fault of Positive Steps Fitness and Wellbeing Ltd, we will reschedule the event to another date in the current year or in the following year. Participants will be given the option to transfer to the rescheduled event or to be given a voucher code of an equivalent value for a future event.
Cut off: None as long as it is a continual run/walk of either 13.1 or 26.2 miles
Refreshments: None! You will need to be self sufficient

The route follows the coastal trail from Holme to Morston.

Finish line: All finishers will receive a bespoke medal, a finishers t-shirt and a warm welcome!
Race Rules
Minimum age on race day: (18) Full Marathon; (17) Half Marathon
No person (except a blind runner’s attendant) may accompany a competitor at any point on the course.
All competitors must compete on foot.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Cut-off times: the run/walk must be continuous but no time limit
