We are running regular beginners courses so get in touch and let us get you started.

Once you have completed the beginners courses you can join our regular Nordic Walking activities.


We are committed to ensuring our events are safe and working within the UK Government guidelines

Entries are open for our popular Norfolk Coastal Marathon and Half Marathon on Saturday 25 September and our popular Bury to Clare Autumn Challenge on Sunday 17 October. Entries will shortly be opening for our new St Edmunds Trail Races on 5 December.

Kings Forest 10km 2019 - Race 1

Following the first 10km Trail Race in Kings Forest in 2017, we have launched a new 2019 'series'.

This event has been authorised by the Forestry Commission.

Distance: 10km

Suitable for: Runners of all abilities, including complete beginners

Medals: Medals will be provided to all runners.

Places available: 225

Event Details

Start time: 11am

Entry details: Online Entry Only: No postal entry, No entry on the day.

Entry cost: UKA affiliated £16, unaffiliated £18

Refunds: Refunds: you will be entitled to a 60% refund if you are unable to take part, up until 6 weeks before the day of the race

Transfers: Transfers: of a place to another participant will be allowed with permission of the Race Director up until 2 weeks before the day of the race

Postponement: Should it be necessary to postpone the race due to no fault of Positive Steps Fitness and Wellbeing Ltd, we will reschedule the event to another date in the current year or in the following year. Participants will be given the option to transfer to the rescheduled event or to be given a voucher code of an equivalent value for a future event.

This is a one-lap flat course which will be clearly marked. There will be one water station at approximately half way.

The course is forest tracks and traffic free.

The surfaces are generally good, and are suitable for normal road shoes.

KM markers will be setup. The course has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, therefore the distances are approximate.

Race Rules

Minimum age: 17 years’ old

No person (except a blind runner’s attendant) may accompany a competitor at any point on the course.

All competitors must compete on foot.

The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Race Numbers

A runner other than yourself must not use your race number. It must not be cut, folded or mutilated in any way and must be fastened securely to the front of your vest or top. Please fill in the personal information required on the reverse side including relevant medical information and contact numbers to aid race staff in the event of an emergency.
