Virtual Beowulf 10km and 5km

The Beowulf 10km and 5km was to have take place from West Stow Country Park and follow a lovely route around the Kings Forest.

It would have been run largely on land owed by Forestry England East, who have confirmed permission to hold the event on their land will not be given at this point in time.

We have decided to make this a virtual run for this year! A bonus is that we will donate £5 from each entry to St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Runners of all abilities welcome including complete beginners.



Distance: 10km

Suitable for: Runners of all abilities, including complete beginners

Medals: Medals will be provided to all runners.

Entry details: Entries are online via Si Entries, using the link on this page. If you have not used Si Entries previously you will need to create an account with before entering. Once you have entered and paid you will receive confirmation and other correspondence about the race via Si Entries. Initially this may go into your spam box. If you need to amend any details of your entry you can log into your account at anytime and edit your entry. If you misplace any emails about the race you can go to message history and retrieve all emails.

Results details: Once you have completed your distance be sure to edit your entry to add the time taken. This will then be shown on the results.

Entry cost: £15

Refunds: No refunds

Postponement: Should it be necessary to postpone the race due to no fault of Positive Steps Fitness and Wellbeing Ltd, we will reschedule the event to another date in the current year or in the following year. Participants will be given the option to transfer to the rescheduled event or to be given a voucher code of an equivalent value for a future event.
